That blanket in Melanie Falick's Handknit Holidays has inspired two blocks out of leftover blues and oranges. I've been paging through the Quilts of Gee's Bend book and thinking about our baby clothes quilt, but I've been spending all my knitting time on a third Noro scarf!

yes yes orange and blue are wonderful together. then again i might be biased as i adore orange with many colors. i must have really dug the 70's. i forgot the coupons! february 1st adding "must get sewing machine out of closet."
