Another Noro scarf

I'm going through the Silkgarden like cookie dough. I made the mistake of browsing through the Ravelry Noro Silkgarden projects - all 2,000 or so - and searching Flickr for anything with a Noro tag.

All of that knitting - and pomanders to boot? (And..are those figs? I'm not sure, I've never seen a Real Live Fig!) Perfectly lovely; I'm beginning to get some serious Noro Envy and I cannot even LOOK at any in the LYS until I've crunched through my commissioned toques. I have spoken. I am strong. I will not fail or weaken. Well..........uhm...

Dale-Harriet - I have to comment on your comment (grin).

I HAVE seen figs, and those aren't them... possibly shallots?

By the way - if you ever get a chance to try a fresh fig, go for it, they are lovely. Much better than Fig Newtons led me to believe...

Mrs Lear - and anonymous friend...need I point out that my - uhm - *culinary skills* are somewhat lacking? Upon looking, even *I* can see that yes, those do look exactly like shallots, which I have seen. Not used, but seen. Good thing I'm a knitter; my career in food service would be shaky. :-)
