I finally knitted the sleeves on my nephew's sweater. I'm sure he's too big for it. I like the way cables look in Rowan Calmer. I am dedicating myself to using up my stash because it is not so much a source of inspiration and opportunity as a closet of skeletons. It is time for spring cleaning!

You missed the nephew but you're ahead of the game for the next little one.
Those cables are exquisite and I like how they lead into the collar. They remind me of rows of newly plowed earth. I wonder if you are starting with the thought of an item and going to the stash with this in mind - or - strolling the stash and letting the yarn 'speak'. I find both methods quite different with their own merits.
