Here's another little sock trial. The polka dot knit fabric became a tshirt, which didn't work out and so will be recut for Miss Lear. I'd like to modify this pattern so that it fits really well. I'm looking forward to Wendy Mullin's book about sewing with stretch fabrics. I need to practice some more.

It remains one of my favorite thing about blogland, the fact that we can admit and even uphold the fact that all of our creations don't work out exactly as we had planned. It's all a learning curve and the pleasure is in fact in the journey.
Tweaking and re-purposing are part of the greater pleasured whole.
