Crumiri

These cornmeal horseshoe-shaped cookies were baked for the last day of school. They represent all the u-turns we made today and how lucky we are.

They look very yummo! Are they sweetened? I do love cornmeal in its many guises (fried mush with maple-y syrup is nice). I especially like things (of any sort) which are nice with a good cuppa. These look like likely subjects for ANY event.

So, are these part of a traditional culture, or is it a family tradition in the making? I do envy you that child who is willing to wear unusual hand-knits.
