Bug in a rug

I'm at 50 inches of Kiki Mariko stash buster! It's been hard using only stash. I can't wait to do another with oranges and yellows and reds! In time management/project planner news, I did receive my telegram from two weeks ago about buying more nectarines!

It looks great, but I must admit I'd love to see one in oranges and reds.

Wow - you are flying through that knitting! It is going to be a lovely rug.

Happy knitting!

you will appreciate this conversation I just had with myself:

"Telegram? What telegram? Oh, that! Yes, I remember that. Was it a telegram? Um, yes. I was going to employ that. Wasn't I? Oh yes, indeed. What was I going to say?"

so it goes.............

Your stash is (or was) really well coordinated as it is! Spectacular.

There is something about this pattern than makes any random collection of colors look very close to the original rug. I was consciously trying to change the look of the original when I made mine, but it came out so very similar.

The bug in a rug shot is irresistible.

I sent a REAL telegram to a friend once as a joke. I didn't even know if Western Union still did them but remember reading my message to the operator and made sure she put in the old-fashioned "STOP." after every sentence.

Late night writing and catching up on your blog. Always inspiring and energizing!---tho I shouldn't be getting energized this late at night. Wanted to ask the ever-creative Mrs. Lear if she had any clever ideas for bookmarks? Sometimes, when I can't find one, I just crochet about forty or fifty stitches and call it a bookmark. But headed to The Strand tomorrow and know I won't come home with less than an armload. Any ideas?
