This is the Eunice sock from Cookie A's Sock Innovation. Dream in Color's Smooshy yarn is my favorite right now for socks. I love this time of year. I make all kinds of plans for Christmas knitting about now.
I'm knitting my first skein of Smooshy and love the smooshiness. After much debate I started knitting Widdershins from Knitty.com but I really wanted more texture and your sock may be just the ticket. Thanks for the inspiration!
Its funny, I generally feel more in the Christmas mood at this time of year than I do in late November! Vicarious planning is a delicious indulgence absent the pressure to immediatly produce!
i admire your forward planning (and that of your commentators!) i shall probably knock out a few knits in the week before christmas, or say 'sod it all' and buy all my gifts. terrible!
