Last month I saw a magazine photo of a bedroom with silhouettes of birds flying over the bed. I have been going through my clip art books looking for something to perk up our walls/furniture and/or appliances.
I saw wall decals on etsy like that. I wanted to buy them. My husband, unfortunately was not fond of them, and we are actually lacking in wallspace in this apartment because one wall that runs the whole length of the apartment is brick which means limited decorating possibilities (landlord would have a cow if we made holes). Oh well.

I've seen that sort of thing on soft furnishings usually in navy with a white background. It'd look cool over a bed!
